We’re Thomas and Janie.
And we’re so happy you’re here!

Seven years ago, we inherited the family homestead and never imagined it would lead to a goat dairy — or that building one would resolve health problems we'd struggled with for years.

Our health journey started long before that. As a teenager, Thomas suffered from chronic sinus infections and congestion so severe it affected his will to live. When he discovered cow's milk was the cause, he cut out dairy entirely and became vegan. Years later, while in her 30s, Janie began dealing with chronic digestive issues with no clear cause or relief in sight. She went vegan too, hoping for answers — but her symptoms only worsened over time.

It wasn't until we moved back to the homestead in 2019 that we learned how different cow's milk and goat's milk really are — why one is so much harder to digest, and why one can cause harm while the other supports healing.

A local farmer introduced us to her goat herd and the benefits of raw goat's milk, and we were intrigued. The more we learned, the more convinced we became that goat's milk is simply better for the human body. We tried some from our farmer friend and were amazed — both by the taste and by how good we felt afterward. We were hooked.

Since then, Janie has used raw goat's milk kefir to rebuild healthy digestion. Thomas has seen major improvements in his routine bloodwork, a record-fast recovery from a broken femur (according to his own surgeon), and no return of his sinus issues.

We've heard equally powerful stories from our Herd Share members:

  • Infants who couldn't nurse — and couldn't tolerate any formula — thriving on raw goat's milk
  • Digestive issues, including ulcers, improving
  • Skin conditions, including severe neurodermatitis, clearing up
  • Longtime dairy-avoiders reintroducing milk into their diets after 30+ years, following reactions to ultra-pasteurized store-bought milk

We're committed to bringing our Herd Share members the best raw goat dairy products around — fresh raw milk, kefir, yogurt, and cheese.

Today, we're home to more than 30 dairy goats who free-range across 400 acres of brush and native grasses. In winter, they eat premium alfalfa hay, sunflower pellets (no grains here), and plenty of fresh vegetables.

Come visit the farm. We'd love to meet you, introduce you to the goats, and show you around. Give us a call to schedule a tour.
