What is a Herd Share?
Owning a herd share is similar to owning stock in a company.
When you join our herd share, you become part-owner of our dairy goat herd.
As a herd share member, you receive a weekly supply of fresh goat milk, just like a milk subscription from your very own goats! (But don’t worry—you don’t have to wake up at 5 AM to milk them. We’ve got that covered! We do all the work so you don’t have to).
Once you become a herd share member, you choose a monthly subscription that matches your family’s needs.
Your subscription covers the ongoing care, milking, feed, equipment, and labor required to manage your goats.
In return, you receive a weekly supply of raw goat milk and other dairy products when available.
We handle all of the milking, cleaning, equipment maintenance, and herd management while you enjoy the most delicious and nutrient-dense raw goat milk in Colorado.
Why Herd Shares Exist
In the state of Colorado, retail sale of raw milk isn’t permitted — but herd ownership is.
Your ownership share entitles you to legal access to the raw milk produced by the herd you co-own.

How Our Herd Share Works
When you join Pine Hills Pastures herd share, you’ll receive fresh raw goat milk weekly, just like a milk subscription from your own goats!
You’ll pay a one-time Buy-In Fee to purchase your share(s) of the herd.
Each full share entitles you to one gallon of milk per week
Each half share entitles you to a half gallon of milk per week
You can purchase multiple shares based on your family's needs.
You’ll pay a monthly Boarding Fee for the care of your animals and processing of your dairy products.
You’ll receive your dairy products weekly on your designated pick-up day.
Pick up your milk weekly from our farm or at one of our drop locations, on your designated day.
Milk will be available for pickup every week, from May to December to the best of our ability.
How To Get Started

Sign Agreement
Read and agree to our Herd Share Agreement. Then join our herd share by clicking the Join Now button below to purchase your herd share(s). You may purchase multiple shares based on your family’s needs and availability. This is a one-time purchase.
2.
Shop
Once you’re a member, visit our Members Shop to select your dairy products! Select the quantity based on the number of shares you purchased when you signed up. Then pay the subscription boarding fee at checkout. Your subscription will renew automatically each month.
3.
Pick Up
Pick up your dairy products on your designated day (selected during the sign-up process in step 1), either from our farm or one of our drop locations. Our farm is located in Elizabeth, CO. We currently have a drop location in Colorado Springs.
